Note: Answer any twelve questions from Section B and one question from Section C in the subject concerned. In Section B, each question carries 10 marks. Section C carries 40 marks. In Section B an answer should not exceed 100 words. In Section C, an answer should not exceed 500 words.

(7). What is EEZ?

(8). Biomagnification and Bioaccumulation.

(9). What are land polluters? Explain.

(10).  Meteorology

(11).  Significance of DO in water quality.

(12).  Acid rain

(13).  Sewage Pollution.

(14).  Artificial fertilizers and Pesticides, explain.

(15).  Explain water quality parameters.

(16).   Ionizing and non-ionizing radiations.

SECTION – C

(1). What are environmental pollutants? Describe various pollutants of air, water and land.

(2). Write an essay on composting and vermicomposting.

(3). Write an essay on different types of waste-management and give your ideas on most desirable methods in Kerala.
